Kier Rouse: Coming from the small area of Spring, TX, how is it different for you here in San Marcos?
Jared Huber: San Marcos has more of a college-town feel. Spring is very suburban. It’s also more laid back here at Texas State.
KR: Who would win in a fight, a panther or a tiger?
JH: A tiger.
KR: If you could have any animal in the world, what would it be?
JH: Probably a big cat of some kind, like a tiger or a leopard. They are just cool.
KR: Marry one, kill one, and kiss one: Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen and Will Ferrell.
JH: I would marry Adam Sandler because he is very funny. I would kill Will Ferrell and I would kiss Seth Rogen.
KR: What do you feel is your best asset that you bring to the team?
JH: My competitive nature. I’m always competing with the guys, whether it is a bet in the locker room or out on the field.
KR: What is your favorite place to hang out around San Marcos?
JH: The locker room. We spend so much time in there. Hanging out at the pool with the guys would be my second favorite spot.
KR: If you had the choice of living forever or being invisible, what would you choose and why?
JH: I would want to live forever. I would get to see some cool stuff, like flying cars.
KR: What district would you be a part of in the Hunger Games and why?
JH: The mining one. Katniss is hot, so I would have to chase after her.
KR: What is your favorite article of clothing?
KR: Would you rather walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, or a drag queen show?
JH: The Victoria’s Secret fashion show. I know in the last show Selena Gomez sang and she is a babe, so maybe she would like what she saw if I walked the runway.
KR: If you were to get a drunk tattoo one night, what would it be?
JH: I would hope it would be something that I got with the guys. Maybe something Texas State-themed and somewhere hidden.
KR: If you could watch one movie on a loop for the rest of your life, what would it be?
JH: The Sandlot.
KR: Have you ever broken a bone in your body?
JH: Yes, I broke my left wrist in the eighth grade playing football.
KR: Are you involved in anything on campus besides baseball?
JH: No. Baseball takes up so much of my time, but I wish I was involved in more.
KR: Would you want to live anywhere else besides Texas?
JH: No. Texas is the greatest state to live in.
