The fall is back and so is some of our favorite TV shows

TV bloggers

There’s nothing better than coming home after a long day to watch one of your favorite shows.  I know people who will stop everything they’re doing—cooking dinner, forget they have a date or do anything to avoid the usual chores just to watch the newest episode of their favorite show. My personal way of avoiding the usual Thursday nights is watching ABCs’ Scandal. Scandal is just one of the hits ABC has to offer. Others, such as Grey’s Anatomy, Once Upon A Time and The Bachelor, have people hooked.

There is something for everyone on television, whether we enjoy action, drama, reality or comedy.  I don’t know about you, but I cannot wait for some of the newest hits to come out!  I am so excited for Selfies, Blackish, How to Get Away with Murder and Gotham to premiere this fall.  My dinner, workout and studies will be done by 7 p.m. each night to catch these premieres.

If you’re one of those that are not home in the evenings due to clubs, sports or classes, Netflix and Hulu are great alternatives to catch up on some popular TV.  I have not seen Orange is the New Black, but I know it’s a definite favorite. You can catch some shows from season one like Vampire Diaries, Resurrection, Grey’s Anatomy and Pretty Little Liars, along with several great movies.

ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and The CW have released their 2014-2015 schedules, leaving us to sort through the lineups to see what’s going to be our new obsession this fall! We’ve listed a couple of premiere release dates of each show just for your benefit, but just incase you haven’t heard of any, let us help you pick your doom! If you’re into comedy, there is no question that TvGuides’ editors pick ABC’s show Black-ish to be a must-watch this fall. Black-ish, created by and starring comedian Anthony Anderson, is about the story of one man's efforts to establish a cultural identity for his family after he discovers his children don't have one.

Ever wanted to know the ins and outs of our government? If so ..then CBS’ very own Madame Secretary is also a must-see by TvGuide’s standards, starring the bold and beautiful Tea Leoni. Although she won’t be co-starring with funny comedian Jim Carrey like she did in Fun with Dick and Jane, she will be playing the role of a former CIA agent whose new assignment is to become the U.S Secretary of State.

NBC’s newest show, A to Z , is a show I am looking forward to wasting my life away watching. A to Z is a romantic comedy that follows a story of a relationship from beginning to end, or as TvGuide describes it, it has an à la 500 Days of Summer feel to it.  I’m such a girl, and I know it!

One show bound to make a following this fall from both comic geeks and the rest of us is Fox’s new show Gotham.  So far we’ve only learned a few minor details about what to expect from the series, such as it will focus on the criminal origins of some of Batman’s most well-known nemeses, so let us know which characters you’re hoping will make it into the first season.
