A bomb threat was made in the area of College Inn in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
A source told The University Star the threat was called in by a Texas State student at 12:39 a.m. from the loading dock of the University Bookstore. Two nearby roads were closed off, Tomas Rivera Drive and Gaillardia Street.
College Inn residents were evacuated to the Student Recreation Center, said University Police Department guard Porter Dewar. Several residents tweeted that they were evacuated from the dormitory at about 2 a.m.
Update: Texas State has announced the bomb threat emergency is over and that all normal activity can be resumed.
