Hays County Sherriff’s deputies are seeking a man who allegedly assaulted a 22-year woman early Friday morning after picking her up from a bar in San Marcos.
On May 6 at approximately 3:00 p.m., Sherriff’s office deputies responded to a report of sexual assault from the Central Texas Medical Center.
While being interviewed at the medical center, the woman told Sherriff’s office detectives that she became ill while drinking at approximately 3:00 a.m. Friday in a local bar. When she stepped outside the bar to vomit, the suspect approached her and asked if she needed help.
The woman told police the suspect then pulled her into his vehicle, taking her to an unknown location. She blacked out and realized she had been sexually assaulted when she awoke. The suspect dropped her off at a San Marcos residence and drove away.
According to a statement from the Sherriff’s office, the suspect is described as a dark skinned male, approximately 5’5’ to 5’8” tall and 120 to 135 pounds with very poor hygiene.
